Unidirectional 12K carbon fiber fabric for structural reinforcement

Carbon fiber unidirectional (UD) fabric is a high-performance composite material woven from premium unidirectional carbon fiber filaments. This material delivers exceptionally high strength and stiffness in specific directions, allowing it to withstand extreme tensile and compressive forces. The fibers are arranged strictly in one direction (usually warp or weft), optimizing structural performance along that axis. Featuring lightweight properties, a high modulus, and singular fiber direction, it is widely utilized in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, sports equipment, and structural engineering.

Application & installation guide

1. Surface preparation: Repair concrete cracks, stop leaks, and remove any aged or loose concrete parts.

2. Primer application: Brush primer onto the surface (0.2-0.4 kg/m²).

3. Base leveling: Prepare the base surface using putty (1.0-1.5 kg/m²).

4. Epoxy application: Brush epoxy resin onto the prepared surface (0.4-0.5 kg/m²).

5. Fabric placement: Stick the UD carbon fiber fabric directly onto the structure.

6. Saturation: Saturate the fabric by brushing epoxy resin (0.1-0.2 kg/m²) along the fibers. Ensure there are no air bubbles in the composite matrix.

7. Multi-layering: If applying multiple layers, brush epoxy resin 4–6 times for each consecutive layer.Curing protection: Protect the structure from any physical impact or loads for the next 24 hours.
