TIVAR™ Cestidur Food Grade UHMW-PE
TIVAR™ Cestidur FG UHMW-PE is a modified food grade material with extremely high molecular weight (average 9E6 g/mol). Its high molecular weight in combination with a particular manufacturing process result in a PE grade with superior wear and abrasion resistance over TIVAR™ 1000 UHMW-PE.
The material is compliant with FDA (21 CFR § 177.1520) and EU 10/2011 requirements.
- Internal lubrication for greater resistance to abrasion and wear
- EU 10/2011 and compositional FDA 21 CFR § 177.2470 compliant
- Good slip properties
- Good impact resistance, even at temperatures below -200º C
- Easily machinable
